About the event
Recently, the fabrication of orthodontic clear aligners by 3D printing has been made possible by the introduction of 3D printable shape memory polymer. Direct printed aligners made of shape memory polymer can change its shape in response to external stimuli such as heat. Shape Memory Aligners (SMA) offer several advantages and functionalities over conventional thermoforming aligners. This course will introduce the digital workflow of the fabrication process of SMA.
